We had yet another great year at the Annual PAWS Mutt Strut. We kept up our fundraising streak, and for the 6th year in a row, TEAM MONSTER was the #1 Fundraising Team, bringing in $6,895 for Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS).
Team Monster (Minders) – PAWS Mutt Strut 2012
Over twenty Monster Minder clients, Minders, and volunteer Milers joined together for a day of celebration, dogs in costumes (Minder Matt was wearing a dog costume), food trucks and free samples. I think my favorite both was the “Pitbull Kissing Booth.” For a donation you could smooch-a-bull. Classic.

To thank us for our efforts, each member of our team snagged a 2013 PAWS Club Membership. And I have to admit, even though we are a part of the discount program (new clients get a discount on their first dog walking invoice), I never really checked what other merchants were involved. Holy cow batman! The perks are SWEET. The PAWS Club includes discounts all over town from glasses at Modern Eye to haircuts and massages at Juju Salon and Spa. Very cool – and all Club proceeds go to help fund PAWS’ lifesaving work! Discounts for me; funds for saving lives. SCORE!
